Account Manager (Reference SM-01)
Job Description:
- Achieve sales goals set by
management by presenting and selling company products and services to
current and potential customers.
- Direct Corporate Sales force and Accounts Management for IT
Services provision (Turnkey Solutions, Business Continuity, Dedicated
Hosting Services, and Collocation Services).
- Prepare action plans and
schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts
to be made.
- Develop customer base to meet
all sales forecasts and budgets.
- Follow up on new leads and
referrals resulting from field activates.
- Identify sales prospects and
contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Maintain high level of product
and vendor knowledge as well as develop sales materials. Preparing and
presenting proposals and prepare paperwork to activate and maintain
contract services.
- Manage account services through
quality checks and other follow up techniques.
- Identify and resolve client
concerns.
- Prepare a variety of weekly
status reports, including activity, closing, follow –up and adherence to
goals.
- Communicate new product and
service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback
gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Attend marketing events such as
trade shows, seminars and association meetings to promote the company, its
products and services.
- Coordinate company staff to
accomplish work required to close sales.
- Follow up for collection payments.
- Coordinate shipping schedules
and delivery of services.
- Provide on the job training to
new sales employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in
appropriate field with at least either one year experience in the IT
market or from an IT background.
- Has a positive attitude and a
sunny personality.
- Has a good appearance.
- Able to persuade and influence
others, strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage
time and prioritize responsibilities and duties.
- Ability to deal with customers,
vendors and all channels of distribution to assess and analyze situations.
- Excellent verbal and written
communications skills (English & Arabic) to be able to create compose
and edit written promotional material.
- Must have some knowledge of
advertising and sales promotional techniques.
- Self motivated and able to
excel with minimum supervision.
- Able to work well with
customers and co-workers in a team configuration.
- Willing to work flexible hours
and occasionally overnight in high pressure situations
- Self leaning ability.
